These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of BlockSide, a booking, deposit, and waitlist tool for solo wellness practitioners and their clients, operated by BlockSide LLC, a Washington limited liability company. By using BlockSide, you agree to these Terms.
The service
BlockSide lets a practitioner publish a booking page and lets clients book appointments, hold them with a card on file, join waitlists, and pay. Your email address is your login — there is no separate password, and no phone number is required to sign in or use the service.
Payments, holds, and fees
- Card details are collected and processed by Stripe. BlockSide never stores your full card number.
- When you book, your card is held, not charged. The full session price is charged when the appointment is completed.
- Each practitioner sets a cancellation window. Cancellations inside that window, and no-shows, may incur a late-cancellation fee up to the full session price, as shown to you at booking. Practitioners can waive any charge.
- BlockSide charges practitioners a platform fee; it is never added to a client's payment. Practitioners who take payment through BlockSide pay a rate that is shown to them and locked in at signup, charged only on money they actually collect. Practitioners on the free plan may take payment on their own (for example cash or a third-party app); their scheduling is free up to 10 booked hours a week, and hours beyond that are billed 2% of the booked value to a card the practitioner keeps on file. The current allowance and rate are shown at signup.
Acceptable use
You agree to provide accurate information, to use BlockSide only for lawful purposes, and not to interfere with or abuse the service. A practitioner may decline or cancel a booking.
SMS Terms
SMS messaging program. Text messaging is optional. Sign-in codes are sent by email, so you never need texts to use BlockSide. If you choose to add and verify a mobile number and opt in, you consent to receive text messages from BlockSide related to your use of the service — appointment reminders, booking confirmations, waitlist offers, and receipts.
You initiate these messages by adding your own phone number and opting in; you can decline and still use everything. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Disclaimers & liability
BlockSide is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BlockSide is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. BlockSide facilitates bookings and payments between practitioners and clients; the services delivered are between those parties.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
